Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Klgare Safaris, North West Province, South Africa (“Klgare Safaris” or “the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility
The competition is open to individuals worldwide who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, directors and immediate family members of Klgare Safaris, and persons directly involved in administering or conducting the competition, may not enter.
Entrants are responsible for ensuring that their participation is lawful in their country or jurisdiction.
3. Entry
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. To enter, participants must complete the official online competition entry form and provide their first name, surname, valid email address, telephone/WhatsApp number and country of residence.
Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate, automated, fraudulent, incomplete or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified.
4. Competition Period
Entries will be accepted until 23:59 South African Standard Time (SAST) on 10 October 2026. Entries received after the closing time will not be eligible.
5. Prize
One winner will receive a seven-day fully catered hunting safari with Klgare Safaris for one hunter and one observer, consisting of one arrival day, five hunting days and one departure day, including the trophy fee for one trophy Blue Wildebeest bull.
The prize includes:
- Accommodation for one hunter and one observer for the safari period.
- Road transfer from O.R. Tambo International Airport to the hunting destination and return transfer to O.R. Tambo International Airport.
- Three meals per person per day.
- Soft drinks, water and local beer.
- Professional hunting services during the five hunting days.
- Trophy fee for one trophy Blue Wildebeest bull.
- Field preparation of the included trophy.
- Required hunting permits for the included hunt.
- Laundry service during the safari.
The prize does not include: international or domestic flights unless expressly stated; taxidermy; dipping and packing; shipping or export costs associated with the trophy; personal expenses; gratuities; travel insurance; passport or visa costs; medical expenses; additional accommodation outside the stated safari; or additional animals hunted.
Any additional trophies or services requested by the winner will be charged according to the applicable Klgare Safaris rates and must be agreed upon separately.
6. Travel
The winner and observer are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel to and from O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa. Both travellers are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, travel insurance and any other documentation required for travel to South Africa.
7. Hunt
The safari will be conducted subject to South African law, applicable provincial legislation, hunting regulations, permit requirements and Klgare Safaris’ normal hunting and safety procedures.
The hunt will take place on dates mutually agreed between Klgare Safaris and the winner, subject to availability and appropriate hunting conditions. The prize must be redeemed and the safari completed by 31 December 2027, unless Klgare Safaris agrees otherwise in writing.
8. Winner Selection
After the competition closes, the winner will be selected at random from all valid eligible entries. The draw, required record keeping and competition process will be conducted in accordance with applicable South African promotional-competition requirements and will be overseen or certified where required by law.
9. Notification of Winner
The winner will be contacted using the email address and/or telephone number supplied when entering and must respond and accept the prize within seven days of notification.
If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required period, is found to be ineligible or declines the prize, Klgare Safaris may select another eligible winner in accordance with the competition rules. Klgare Safaris will never require the winner to pay a fee simply to claim the prize.
10. Prize Conditions
The prize is not transferable for cash and cannot be exchanged for its monetary value. The observer place cannot be converted into an additional trophy fee, cash or credit. Any portion of the prize that the winner elects not to use will be forfeited and will not be refunded or credited.
11. Additional Animals
The winner may, subject to availability, applicable permits and agreement with Klgare Safaris, hunt additional species during the safari. Additional trophy fees and associated costs are for the winner’s account and will be charged according to the applicable Klgare Safaris price list.
12. Publicity
Klgare Safaris may invite the winner to participate in photographs, videos or promotional activities. Participation in such publicity is voluntary and subject to the winner’s separate consent.
13. General
Klgare Safaris reserves the right to verify entries and entrant eligibility. If circumstances outside the reasonable control of Klgare Safaris prevent the competition or prize from proceeding as intended, Klgare Safaris may make reasonable changes subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.

When you enter the Klgare Safaris competition, we collect your first name, surname, email address, telephone/WhatsApp number, country, entry date and time, competition consent and optional marketing consent.
We collect this information to administer the competition, verify eligibility, communicate with entrants where necessary, conduct the prize draw and contact the winner.
Competition information will not automatically be used for future electronic marketing merely because someone entered.
If you separately select the optional marketing consent box, Klgare Safaris may use the contact details you supplied to send you information about hunting safaris, special offers and Klgare Safaris news. You may withdraw your marketing consent or unsubscribe from future marketing communications at any time.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable South African data-protection legislation, including POPIA.
